And Ricky, ZP wouldn't know Polecat mainly because she's a city girl. If I'm not mistaken, the true polecat (or European Polecat) is a European critter (therefore more in her neck of the woods, assuming she went into the woods), somewhat equivalent to the American skunk in smell but looks different. We just naturally used the word to describe the skunk because of the similar smell. There are other variants of polecats throughout the "old country", i.e. Europe, Asia, Africa. But don't take my word for it, I'm just a country boy and polecat was good enough for me growing up.

Ya gotta know yer critters if yer gonna have yer insults work proper.
Take a map of the US ... stick a pin in Waco. Note the position of said pin. Waco is almost dead center in the country, and further South than San Diego ... so if you're talking maps ... it's in the South. If you are talking culturally, then it's in Texas.
And .... just out of curiosity ... who brought up Waco???
