About mixing gadget with water, I accidently put the original head set for my iphone through a long wash in the washing machine and it still worked fine after that.
When I want to read while walking (rain or no rain), I'll grab my Philips Spark... Plenty of audiobooks on it!


(and after drowning two phones, I decided to get a rugged one, at least that one won't drown!)
