Under settings - Internet connections for programs it shows that Calibre is ok to use the internet.
Additionally I still have access to the server with a browser through the external IP
After each upgrade Mcafee prompts me for permission to allow access.

FYI just tested it on my wifes computer and have the same result on the local share through stanza

Worked fine with 0.8.61
When upgraded to 0.8.63 error on the local share "Catalog Error - The request has timed out and in Stanza it shows no shared books.
Access with a browser through external IP works fine.
She is running a windows 7 - 64 bit PC as well but she is using Norton 360 v6.2.1.5
My wife's PC is accessing the same library shared from my PC
Calibre is NOT Multi user. You are asking for pain if 2 computers access (have calibre connected to) the same Library
The Content server is the correct way for multiple READ users.

BTW the server ALSO needs to have its name white-listed calibre.exe <port> (I could have sworn, it was calibre-server.exe but it shows up in TCPview as calibre.exe)
