A beautifully written book - one of a very few for which the movie version was (IMHO) equally beautiful. I think Diana Rigg, as the Mother Superior, was superb - esp. with her speech about being married to God - even though it wasn't in the novel.

I've never seen the movie, obviously something I need to remedy. I think the book is wonderful.
