Devices which charge through the USB port won't charge at twice or four times as fast if you hook them up to a charger that puts on 2x or 4x than expected It's not at all like the lead acid battery in your vehicle. (Which can be damaged by over heating if you charge it faster than 10 hours for a full charge.) The charger puts out electricity. The device is responsible for accepting only as much current as it's designed to use.
