That is not a 'Fail' message, but a warning/advisory that Calibre has discovered that there now exists a known condition that would require you to perform steps on your device if you want full calibre functionality again.

Read the instructions very carefully and decide if you want to proceed with the optional.

IIRC If you do not, Calibre will still send books, but little else will effect your Kobo
