Yes Dulin is correct, The european counterparts tend to get OS updates months before the US users get them because of the carrier roadblock, for example the galaxy nexus wich got its jellybean update lastmonth on europe but on verizon & sprint there is no update and no info whatsoever if and when they will ever get it on the galaxy nexus for thier carriers, and there really is no excuse because they run an unskinned version of the operating system like the european models. here in the US the carriers would much rather Sell you an update by selling you a new phone with 2 year contract than to give timely updates.
