No, this is not the case. If and only if you're visiting with a mobile browser, you will be prompted if you want to use Tapatalk. If you choose not to, a cookie from mobileread.com is saved to prevent the prompt from showing again every time you visit MobileRead. This cookie has no other functionality and it certainly isn't used to track you.

Nope. Again, no tapatalk cookie is used or installed. The cookie is from the mobileread domain over which tapatalk has no access. It has no functionality other than to prevent the prompt from popping up again. It is no different than a cookie we use to store your mobileread user session.
