I prefer three separate, if all are available at once. I like the smaller chunks. Price matters to me though, so if an ebook is cheaper in an omnibus, and I'm sure I want to read the whole thing, I'll choose the cheaper one. If I'm not sure I'll read the whole thing, I'm more likely to choose a cheaper, single first volume (and there are a whole lot of series I've ended up buying and reading because they gave me the first book free or close to it, I liked it, and bought the rest).
