Of course, the problem is that you are assuming you know what they "intended." People who hang around this forum are not your typical consumers. That ad is directed at a whole lot of people who (1) do not have huge amounts of common sense .... I mean really .... they read a magazine all about the stuff that a talk show hostess thinks is cool (bare with me ... I have never read the thing ... it could contain a lot of pithy and literary articles on matters of world importance ... but I doubt it), and (2) know nothing about ebooks other than what they just read in that ad.

Sadly, when people do not involve transactional lawyers soon enough ... that's when it really gets fun out there ... and they get to pay all sorts of money to the litigators.
