YMMV, but I rather like THRICE UPON A TIME, PROTEUS OPERATION, VOYAGE FROM YESTERYEAR, and several others. Coversely, the latter books of the MINERVAN EXPERIMENT (ENTOVERSE, etc) strike me as taking a good thing too far.
