True, but scientific papers are pretty well never formatted for 6" screens. I can do that with my own (and use a more E-Ink friendly font, as well), but I'm stuck with whatever PDFs everyone else provides for their papers. The figures are also problematic, even when the document is re-formatted.

Anyway, I just wanted to point out that higher resolution displays had real benefits, even for those of us without SeaKing's eagle-eyes. You would be able to read those PDFs, for starters.
