I used to avoid westerns and all things cowboy, but a friend convinced me last year to give them another try (though she's more of a modern romance fan than historical). I read (and loved) the Elizabeth Lowell "Only" series, and have enjoyed the Leigh Greenwood, Sharon Ihle, etc freebies that have shown up through KDP. Do you have any particular recommendations? I usually read medievals and Regencies, but am wanting to branch out a bit.

Made my DANL pick just now, went with the higlander title. I love me some highlanders. Still have two credits, so I may also get the Amelia Grey. I will probably wait until I have read her recent 99 cent title to decide, though. Sometimes her books are very good, and sometimes the historical improbability and inaccuracies are just too much.
