This is besides hard drives of various kinds.

I now have
(2) 32GB Kingston Flash Drives
(1) 8GB Kingston Flash Drive
oodles and oodles of 2GB SanDisk (my old standard) Flash Drives

I have decided to go with Kingston because it is smaller (sticks up less than the SanDisk) when it is inserted into the USB port.

I have so many SDs and xDs that I am not sure how many. A bunch of devices use them. Cameras, DVR, computers, tablets, GPS units, phones, etc. The largest is 16GB, the smallest is maybe 125MB. I haven't needed 32 or 64GB yet.

I can put anything on these memory devices I want, and go anywhere in the world, including out in the areas of the US and Canada without cell service and certainly no WiFi. I can go out into and over the ocean or a great lake or a desert or above a mountain beyond any CLOUD'S reach.

Yeah, I guess I could go with a Satellite phone, but that is really expensive. I do have a SPOT though for "that day" when the rescuer needs rescuing.

And if I desire, I have access to a relative's and a friends Web Site for free storage and I do store certain encrypted strategic info there (including tax returns) for emergencies in case I have a house fire, and all vessels and aircraft dive into the ocean and I wake up in a hospital or the flood or hurricane wipe out everything and I need my insurance info, etc.

I am not going to pay rent to cranky landlords who can change their terms as they will.
Now the free stuff, I will use, but carefully.
