It gets down to 1/4 battery after about 1 1/2-2 weeks. I get the 'charge soon' message between 2-3 weeks. Mind you, I read on average 3 hours total. A lot of turning it on from sleep mode because I start and stop often. I'd say the battery is fine on my Kindle. I just wanted to know if I should wait until I get the 'charge soon' message or if I'm ok to charge it before that happens. Obviously now I know I shouldn't leave it on the charger overnight .

And by "regularly" I meant that almost every time I charge it I leave it on the charger over night.
