Calibre starting on wrong monitor

I'm using Windows XP and Calibre 0.8.62. I have a dual-monitor set up. I like to keep Calibre in the second monitor. Some months ago I noticed that Calibre began starting in the main monitor every time. This was a change from its previous behavior, though I'm not sure if any particular event preceded it, such as a crash.

If the Calibre window is maximized when I close it, it will always position on the main monitor next time it's started. If it is less than full-screen when it's closed, it will position in the second monitor--but return to the main monitor the next time I close it while maximized.

Calibre is the only program affected--all other windows remember their positions as expected. This is not a huge problem, but it's becoming annoying. Any hint how I can get Calibre back to always remembering its position?
