If they issue lots of codes and many of them for a fairly large % off now, when few books qualify, then perhaps we should expect fewer codes, with smaller amounts off when more books can be discounted

I know I have let codes go unused because I couldn't find anything I wanted to buy. I'd use more of them when they could be used on any book I wanted.
