I applaud Goodreads for finally stepping and doing something about the bullying. I've seen more authors bashed or made fun of because of their book. Reviews should be about the book and any criticisms should be about the book and not author bashing.
You can tell there are several reviewers on there who think they are big shots and go after authors whose books they didn't like. They are just plain ole mean and they have a huge posse to back them up. It's just sad. What is this? High School?
Goodreads use to be a place you go to read reviews or leave them. I had to remove my reviews due to how brutal is was getting. Now I just rate my books. I really wish there was a way to leave a comment or small review about book that only your friends can see. I do love the status updates option and use it alot.
I use the Goodreads app more than the actual website. It keeps getting better as they update it. Now if only they fix the Facebook timeline part I would be happy.
