That is correct, Baen sends the gift email from YOUR address. Most mail systems notice that the email says it is from a domain that it really isn't coming from and flag it as spam or at least use it as a criteria in it's spam ranking algorithm. If your spam system is particularly aggressive and rejects or deletes spam rather than segregating it to a spam folder where you can hopefully find it then it could get lost. If that is the case it might be worth it to set up a free gmail account for participating in the baen bundles. Gmail keeps spam in the spam folder for thirty days before deleting it for good.
