Hello, I'm looking for an e-ink reader which:
-is compatible with a Linux PC
-supports pdf well
-lets me annotate/highlight pdf (possibly freehand)
-lets me transfer annotations to/from a Linux PC
The latter is indicated as an experimental feature of Calibre, but it's not
clear to which models it applies, nor if it actually works..
I plan to buy something old, second hand, and won't need much space.
Wifi would be a plus but not critical.
The decisive feature for me is to be able to transfer annotations/highlights,
e.g. take notes on the device, read/edit them on the PC, sync them back
to the device.
I would like to be able to do freehand annotations as well, but I can adapt to typing in notes if that's the only way to sync them.
All the rest is optional.
Thanks a lot
