Perhaps it is an unwise assumption. Still it makes waiting for a late bus in the rain a lot less frustrating.

I am inclined to think that the Sony 350 is reasonably well sealed as is the 600. My 600 was drenched by water from a broken pipe and my 350 has endured at least a dozen hours of being read in the rain.

Not recommending it, just for me the benefits outweigh the risk. I did try baggies and other things and just decided to take my chances.

PS. Do people commonly talk on the phone while showering?
