Better World Books is having a DTB sale. I use BWB to find "scanning copies" of older backlist books that seem unlikely to be issued as e-books any time soon. From some other threads in the past, I think a few other folks here at MR do the same thing, so I thought I'd post this sale, even though this isn't technically for e-books...just things that can be made into e-books.
With all apologies to Catlady (!), here's the info on BWB's Dog Days of Summer sale:
Quote:
Dog Days of Summer: Save 20%.
It is said that every dog has its day. What they don't tell you is that dogs are slowly taking over the calendar, as evidenced by the Dog Days of Summer. Do you need a better reason for a sale? We don't.
So if you promise not to slobber on the newspaper or terrorize any cats, then you are welcome to save 20% on orders of 4 or more used books that ship from us at our sale selection. That's a pretty good sale. Good sale! Who's a good sale? Yes you are, Dog Days of Summer sale! Yes you are a good sale!

Their sale selection tends to be common older books - you aren't going to find that really rare long-out-of-print title in the sale section, but I still usually manage to find a few that I want each time they have a sale. (Of course, it's not too hard to find books I want

)
The link to their website didn't come through in the quote, so here it is:

The deduction is taken automatically once you put four (or more) qualifying books in your shopping cart. They also have a handy little link on the left side which lets you filter for "Dog Days" eligible titles once you've done a search.
