I am so embarassed right now. I was trying to download an eBook on my phone to read durning any minutes of downtime at work and it wasn't working (still isn't, error 1060). I thought maybe it was a storage issue, so I was going to try to delete the files of an eaudiobook I'd already listened to. Well, I ended up playing the darn thing! Right when the narrator was talking about animal lust (not a sex scene, though. TG. I doubt there is even one of those in the mystery novel in question). Right at the front desk. With people all around. Serves me right, I guess, for trying to sneak a book at work but my tablet is, of course, at home and I really wanted to continue reading The Long Lankin. The stupid eAudio mystery novel is just something to listen to on the long commute.
*snicker* my daughter flew in from Pearl Harbor for the funeral of her grandfather in law and asked me to go with her. she was sitting with the family and I was midway back by myself. I had never met the gentleman, and was bored to tears, so I very surreptitiously was playing spider solitaire with the sound on my phone off. when you win a game in spider, it takes you to an add that you can then skip out of. usually. I was ready to crawl under the pew when the audio portion for a matchdotcom add came on EVEN THOUGH I had the sound on my phone OFF!!!!
