No flames here. I'm dual booting Win@K and WinXP, and planned to add Linux to the mix till I ran into some nasty hardware problems. I still plan to add Linux, but not till I'm sure the machine is stable. (Looks like I need a new power supply, for starters: I don't like it when a PC spontaneously shuts off.

I have no plans to move to Vista. The only thing I've seen so far in Vista I don't have in XP is NTFS support for true symbolic links. I can (and do) do hard links, but those can't span file systems. For that, you need symlinks.
