I finished my re-read of The Hobbit. It was more wonderful than I remember.

I was going to delve straight into a re-read of LOTR but decided to read The Long Lankin by Lindsey Barraclough. I am love it so far and I am about 50% through. The fact I have read that much of it in just two days is telling. I used to be a speed reader but my attention span has gotten terrible in my adult years. The house, the yard, or the Internet is always demanding attention when I am not at work.

Anyway, The Long Lankin is very good so far and rather Goth. Two little girls in Britain go to live with their Great Aunt in a mouldering estate with a scary, child-killing legend. The kids are so real and imperfect, as are all the characters. It is a gripping story so far!
