Hello everyone,

My name is Vicky and I live in Dubai. I've been doing a lot of research around the best e-ink readers in Dubai and have narrowed it down to the Sony PRS-T1and the Kindle Touch.

At the moment my preference is the Sony as the user interface is a lot better (visual), it reads PDFs better and in landscape and it has that stylus pen (I like to scribble notes on my books!).

However, I'm concerned about the ability to download books in Dubai. I know they suggest google books (which seems pretty rubbish), WHSmith, Waterstones and Foyers - i'm just not sure how good they are or whether I will be able to purchase from them in Dubai. I have a VPN and an English credit card.

Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated - I desperately just want to get an e-reader now!!
