i am moving from the UK to Israel, however i have lost my 3g iPhone. i am waiting for insurance to process the claim for a new handset, however whilst i am waiting, i will need a phone. i am considering buying a 3g phone to use in UK, as my replacement sim is 3g, and then hopefully use when i arrive in israel. i have found the second hand 3g market in UK to be expensive, so it seems i might as well buy a new 3g phone.
my concern is that my new 3g phone will not work in israel -- i am most grateful if anyone knows if i can use a UK 3g on a pre-pay or contract in Israel??
