Wow I can't believe that I can't even log in to Kobo without getting a Rakuten ID. Talk about getting screwed over by Kobo. I can't help but notice that they stopped replying to my emails when I asked them if any of these problems had to do with my being in Japan.
Thank God I have a VPN.
