I know I post every time my Kobo does something odd - like a new mother calling the ped., wondering if her baby's "normal" - but this was weird!
I had recently charge my battery to full (6 hour charge), last night the battery was at 75 -85% according to the little icon. I've had to do 2 pin resets since charging, but nothing serious.
I was reading a sideloaded book with a side loaded font (on .17 firmware), touched the screen to turn the page. Page went blank and up popped the "Please Charge Your Reader" screen. I looked at my husband and went "Huh? I just charged the d*mn thing!!" and proceeded to power it back on. It powered on, showed me the 75-80% charge and all went well after that, but it's never happened in the almost 1 year that I've had the device.
I figure that maybe there was a glitch in the power draw when I went to turn that page, causing the "Please Recharge Your Reader" screen to kick in, but it was weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeird.
So, Doctor, is my baby normal??

<-- okay, not *that* funny, but we don't have a smilie of someone chuckling lightly to themselves.
