That is the problem it's not the epub format it's the DRM that B&N uses if it was just e-pub it would be easy... unless you have a nook just don't bother buying from B&N.. it is just not worth the trouble and you have to (technically) break the DMCA (a potential felony)to make it compatable..... I hope the idiot(s) at B&N change it but given their business history I wouldn't hold out much hope of that.. I expect the online store will go "tits up" just like the mall stores...... did.......
