When did you grab your 8.60 download?
There was a nasty bug and Kovid replaced the update (there is still a cosmetic error, but the data is there) around 10am PDT
You might :
1)delete your previous download (if still around)
2) uninstall Calibre via the control panel (calibre leave the settings and Library intact)
3) Get a fresh 8.60 download and install
