I agree, it would be better. I was assuming my husband would not use the Sony that much and we could swap back and forth like a normal book when we want to read what the device has. It didn't occur to me that maybe he would get hooked and then the swapping would be tedious, especially if we both like the same device.

I think, though, I need to discuss it more deeply with my husband.

One thing about the Kindle, though, is that lots of times I am stuck in an airport or on a plane on the ground and I keep thinking that I could be downloading something better to read than what I have. With the Sony, I would need to boot my PC, hook up, etc. It is too much for a quick fix.
