Finally got the new 2.0.0 firmware automatically downloaded from Desktop. And it worked.

Even though the revision number is the same as the previously available direct link version, 41166, the zip file sizes are different.

This version has the following differences in the firmware, all in the dictionary directories (KoboRoot.tgz\usr\local\Kobo):

Removal of the Spanish dictionaries: dicthml-es and dicthml-es-en.
Changes to 79 files in the Japanese dictionary: dicthtml-ja

Edit: The direct link is now donwloading the latest version of 2.0.0
