And, Geoff - yes, we have been down the same road. As you were answering, I was already online ordering my Kindle, but I appreciate your feedback. I had done the math on my recent Sony purchases and, I agree, I would have saved quite a bit on just a few items.
So, I will see how it goes with the Kindle and Sony combo. Wish me luck!
