Manually installing doesn't seem that difficult so couldn't Kobo make it available for download to all with instructions to install that way? If the beta group didn't see any problems installing like that it would seem to me the firmware is good to go and the problem lies in distribution. Just a thought. I'm sure I'm missing something that makes this not an option or at the very least a very complicated option. I factory reset my Touch and updated it back to 1.9.17 and hope this is resolved soon. I liked what I did get to see of 2.0 before I buggered it somehow.
