I finished Paul Christopher's The Sword of the Templar (#1 Templar series) yesterday. The story itself is okay, an action packed thriller, where the two main characters find a templar sword when one of their relatives dies, when someone tries to steal the sword and burns down the house they want to find out why. It turns into a wild trip around the world. It's a quick read.
However, Christopher's showing of of his knowledge (or good use of dictionaries and encyclopaedia) and info-dumping got irritating after a while. Also, the ending was very rushed and left some questions unanswered. I don't know if that was intentional to get people to buy the next book but I don't like it when that happens.
