For what it's worth, here are my experiences with the new firmware:

1) Update went fine, just like all the others. Took a couple minutes to download and a few more minutes to install and I was up and running.

2) Page turns in kepubs are really fast now.

3) Page turns in sideloaded epubs are slower now (feels like, as some have said, turning pages on the wifi). If I could pick one thing to change in this update, this would be it.

4) I miss the old clock display. Oh well.

5) I love being able to jump to Search Library from the home screen.

6) The settings balloon is great.

7) I kind of liked the carousel, but I'm fine letting it go.

Overall, it's been a positive experience. Great job, Kobo team!
