I'd have to disagree with you my phone does better than my iPod 64gb did and I use it in work regularly for mp3's on ten hour nightshifts. Mines a Galaxy S Advance which I believe has a slightly smaller battery than the S2.
Basicly I use it for music all night and check the internet, messages and update/read the daily mail app at my breaks. I've ussually the majority of my battery left when I get home but I do top it before I leave the house again.
I will admit there could be some major variables depending on factors like how many widgets/apps are running, which music player you are using (I use Jetaudio plus), version of Android, different countries having different cell phone standards and even models of the same phones can vary.
Also just seen a promising sign for future
Android docks .
