I'm talkin' 'bout the DEADLY kind; while we have some poison spiders here (I'm told), I've never seen one. And I've seen only one 1 cm long scorpion in the 30 years I’ve been here. We do, however have some nasty centipedes, but while their bites hurt a bit they're generally not deadly.

And we ain't got no snakes! Venomous or not! None; except in the zoo.
