I have to disagree; the user experience is paramount to these devices, and you can't have a responsive UI if you skimp on CPU and RAM. You certainly don't need a quad-core, a decent dual-core would do, but this Nvidia chip is very good value and makes sense to choose it.
The GPS, it depends on your usage, it would allow you to use your tablet as a navigation device (now you can save maps on your device), or by using a 3rd party app. The camera is also a nice addition for video conferencing.
