I've been using my mom's library card in Ann Arbor to check out ebooks for the last year because my city (Detroit) didn't offer library ebooks. I just checked again to see if that had changed and it looks like they offer ebooks now, but the website is so difficult to use I'm surprised anyone is able to check the ebooks out. You can't browse the ebooks available or even search the ebook database, you can only search for a specific book or author and then wade through the hard copies, audiobooks, reference books, etc. to see if they have any ebooks available. So far I haven't been able to find a single ebook that they offer, so I'm not sure how smooth the check-out process is.

Maybe I'll just stick to the Ann Arbor library.
