The power went out last Friday, came on the 4th, went back off the 6th, and just came back on. You have not lived until you've gone through a week of 90 to 103 degree weather with no AC, no electric, no ice, and lost your frig and freezer, and then lost everything that you restocked your frig and freezer with.
If the power goes back off again I may not be responsible for my actions.
Edit: Oh yeah, and then there's the fun of walking out after the storm and seeing half the shingles that were on your roof scattered over the neighborhood.
Further Edit: On the bright side I read a bunch of books while the power was off, so it hasn't been a total loss.
