Teksavvy is a move in the right direction but it's fairly limited in coverage. It's not in some provinces at all, and afaik cable is only available in selected areas in BC, ON and PQ. It helps keep Bell, Rogers and Shaw somewhat honest but it's not the out and out competitive environment there is in Europe. And OFCOM may have its faults, but anything is better than the CRTC.
