And after experimenting with a twitchy touch-screen on a Blackberry Torch 9810 (and promptly going back to MobiPocket Reader for Blackberry instead of Kindle for Blackberry for reading my collection (3,500+) of DRM-free mobi formatted books I've been making for the last 13 years), you might also consider adding a stylus if there's any issue with being able to accurately isolate a single point with her fingertip. I got a Nataal electro-capacitive stylus from Amazon and it made life *much* simpler, and I have steady hands and small finger tips. YMMV
