I purchased a cheap 7" android tablet some time ago when prices on quality ones was high. It works fine as an ebook reader but is just too underpowered for other uses.

My iPhone 3G is starting to look really slow as well, so I have been thinking of replacing my table and phone with the Galaxy Note 5.3".

I know it seems like a too big phone and a too small tablet but I am thinking it just may hit the sweet spot for my needs.

My tablet requires that I carry it in a small shoulder bag and also carry my phone in my pocket. With the Note, I could just carry one and it fits in the pocket.

And it is big enough for ebook reading and bigger than my iPhone for web browsing, reading RSS feeds, etc.

Price is high, but I am going to check them out.
