Komodo already has replied all/most your questions, so just a small note...

It is not possible to link other file (picture/pdf) to the main document. But it is possible to write notes directly to a document, just like on a paper one with pen. And it is possible to make a new pdf with the original text and read it and with some problems even print on PC. So, M92 now is sort of direct replacement of a paper document/book and pen (if you do not miss the color and accept that you will not see comfortably the both pages of a book and for most scientific papers you need to zoom even within the single page... That is the price for 10" b&w display).

It is not possible to export only the chips of the text with notes, which would be very usefull, but thanks the God for that what has already been implemented!
