Device: Sony PRS-T1
As the most of us know, the PRS-T1 is running on Android. Android keeps track of the battery-usage with a file called batterystats.bin. Sometimes the statistics in this file aren't in sync with the real data on the battery and Android thinks it's empty while it is not.
If you have a rooted PRS-T1 this can easely be corrected by fully charging your reader and then delete te file, but if your device is not rooted, you can bring the batterystats.bin in sync with your battery by following these steps:
Device on -> fully charge the reader (red light goes out).
Disconnect charger, shut down reader (NOT stand-by) and fully charge untill red light goes out.
Discoonect and turn on device, charge full, disconnect, shutdown, charge full etc etc etc.
Repeat this process untill the red light goes out within a minute after connecting the charger when the device is off.
If the red light immediatly goes out (within a minute) after connecting the charger when the device is off, the batterystats.bin and the battery are in sync.
If you still have problems, something else is your problem.

Please let me know....
