Last time I looked at new vehicles, I found out there was no lighter. The salesman said they didn't include them for many people didn't want smoking in their cars, but for $15 (I think) they would include one.
At first I said ok that is fine. I don't smoke, but then I thought again that there have been a few times I wanted to light a fire with the lighter and also the next owner of the vehicle might want one.
Anyway, I got the lighter and stuck it in the glove compartment.
You just never know what future requirements will be.
