Heck, with promos, special offers, pre-order deals, and stuff like the Baen Free Library you can amass a lifetime of reading of free NON-Public Domain ebooks, too. And that's not to mention public library lending.

I have absolutely spent less on books since getting a Kindle compared to my DTB buying habits previously.

I sometimes go out of my way to SPEND money on some favored authors out of guilt.
