It's an interesting development this and one which will no doubt create lots of discussion in the PDA community. Here's some thoughts I was sent-

Sony comes back (since Access is a Japanese company and there is a lot of vertical integration in Japan).

Palm.com is cut off from the Palm OS

The new Cobalt "Access OS" release imminent...
